Refurbishment of a Grade II listed villa with substantial new build elements to create a 13,000ft² private residence.
A number of previous unsympathetic additions will be demolished and the retained element will be substantially altered to the extent that the internal floors will be removed and the facades laterally braced during construction.
The existing basement is to be extended to include a gym, swimming pool and cinema and the two new contemporary wings will offer open plan areas and wrap about the landscaped courtyard.
A new mansard roof completes the scheme.
