Formerly Guy’s Drug Research Unit, 147 Borough High Street is the third facility for Richmond Pharmacology, the UK’s largest Phase I and II clinical research organisation.
Works involved stripping out the existing building including partitions, M&E equipment and demolishing walls within basement for reconfiguration.
Fit out works included the medical facility forming new partitions, decorating and installing new MEP equipment to suit the requirements of a medical research facility that provides onsite accommodation to clients.
The new, modern research facility provides four floors with a basement offering consulting rooms, operating theatres, procedure rooms and recovery facilities with living rooms, quiet spaces and a kitchen for patients.
